Papyrus is a national charity for the prevention of young suicide. They provide confidential support and suicide intervention through the helpline, with trained professionals giving support, advice and information to young people under the age of 35 who feel suicidal, or people worried about a young person being at risk of suicide.

For any mental health enquiry, large or small, Oxfordshire Mind provide information and signposting to mental health services for people living in Oxfordshire. The service can answer specific questions about mental health or mental health services or tell them about your situation and they will suggest some options for getting you help and support. Options sessions are open to anyone over 16 years living in Oxfordshire who wants information and support around their mental health. If you are worried about your own mental health, this can be a good place to start getting help.

Options sessions take place over the telephone or in person at one of our venues in Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester, Witney or Cowley in Oxford. Provides support and practical information for adults affected by domestic abuse. The helpline can help with enquiries and provide access to support services including refuges.

A confidential listening, support and information service run for and by students.

Provides information on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related conditions and therapy and treatment resources. Also lists support groups throughout the UK.

OxFriend aim to provide the highest quality of response to all those seeking information, support and counselling on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender related issues.

OCD Action offers support to people affected by OCD and related conditions, and also works to improve knowledge and representation of these conditions in the media. The Helpline service is a free and confidential service offering a listening ear, information, and support to people who have or think they might have OCD or a related condition, as well as their loved ones.

Provides help and support to people affected by panic attacks, phobias and other anxiety disorders.

The Freephone 24 Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline, run in partnership between Women’s Aid and Refuge, is a national service for women experiencing domestic violence, their family, friends, colleagues and others calling on their behalf. The Helpline can give support, help and information over the telephone, wherever the caller might be in the country.

The Listening Service is a not for profit organisation which provides a pioneering faith and culturally sensitive service to women in the UK. Their core service is a free and confidential listening service available nationally via the telephone.
