Overview
Witney and West Oxfordshire Food Bank provides emergency food parcels of non-perishable food items and occasionally toiletries to people who are experiencing an unexpected crisis situation. A charity supported by the local community to provide food parcels and support to individuals and families in food crisis. It is run by a team of staff, volunteers and Trustees.
How to Access this Service
The service is accessed through a referral process. You can get a referral through one of a number of organisations including, local NHS services e.g. your GP or other health professionals, Citizens Advice, local churches and schools, a range of local charities offering support to individuals and families who are suffering food poverty.
When/Where?
Everyone who comes to the foodbank for emergency food needs to have a valid foodbank voucher.
Monday to Friday between 10-1 are the opening hours of the foodbank.
Who is it for?
This service is for the benefit of all residents of Witney and West Oxfordshire.
