SSAFA The Armed Forces Charity
Overview
The UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity. SSAFA exist to relieve need, suffering and distress amongst the Armed Forces, veterans and their families in order to support their independence and dignity. SSAFA provides support and advice via welfare caseworkers. This is available to any current or former member of the Armed Forces. They can help clients with accessing employment, benefits, healthcare and housing.
